Cory Potts
Cory is the grandfather of UW Mock Trial. As a dual attorney/witness mocker, Cory helped lead his high school, University Prep, to a State Championship in 2005. A month later, Potts’ team placed 10th at the National High School Mock Trial Championship in North Carolina. After graduation Cory attended Davidson College for two years, where he simultaneously competed, coached and coordinated as a member of the Davidson Mock Trial Team. In 2007, Cory transferred to UW, where he round up former high school mockers to form the foundations for what would become a full fledged program. Cory acted as President and Co-Captain of UW's A team.
Cory went overseas after earning his degree and taught English to children in France. He is currently in Belgium on a Fulbright Scholarship.
